GIFs Being Cut Shorter Than Recordings
When it comes to creating and sharing GIFs, Recordit is a great tool that makes it really simple for users to record their own screens and share their recordings as GIFs. Some of our users have noticed their GIFs being cut shorter than the recording; this is because we have a limit of 180 frames -more than enough for a GIF-
If this is something that happens to you, we suggest two things:
- Lower the FPS on the Recordit settings (max is 12)
- Make your recordings shorter
So let’s say you want to record 30 sec of your screen, then select 6 FPS so you won’t pass 180 frames total and you are set to go.
